we can go out to the show
or just listen to the radio
if you're with me i'll be happy
tell me something i already know
and i'll still pay attention
you're my best friend i hope you do not go
oh no
please don't go to michigan
i would take the train to find you
but i spent my last dollar at mr. suit
on some replacements reissue
i could fly but i'm afraid to die
despite what i say when i get high with you
i thought you knew
but no
please don't go to michigan
living alone can be such a bummer
so i called him up, called him over
i'm glad you didn't kill yourself last summer
you said that you're going to wait until your mom died
and i hope she's okay because you never lied
i'm glad you didn't kill yourself last summer
